Caribbean Dancesport Classic is officially a proud qualifying event for the
ANNUAL WORLD SALSA CHAMPIONSHIPS As Seen Worldwide On ESPN!
Las Vegas, Nevada December 13-16, 2006
Winners of the Open to the World CDC Pro Salsa Championships will now also win a trip to compete in Las Vegas for the Annual World Salsa Championships held December 13-16, 2006.
CDC will be flying the winners to Las Vegas to compete in Division On 1 or On 2 depending on the winning couple and their timing.
On behalf of Albert Torres and the Salsa Seven Inc., the 2nd Annual Salsa World Championship will be celebrating its amazing event again in Las Vegas. The best "salsa" dancers in the World engaged in a noble competition to define who are the champions of the universe in four categories: "On -1", "On - 2", "Cabaret" and "Groups/Teams". The event, produced by Salsa Seven Inc., also includes seminars and live music every night. Celebrity artists last year were Victor Manuelle, Michael Stuart, Tito Puente original orchestra and others. The event will broadcast once again on ESPN International and ESPN Deportes, and are in negotiations to also have it on ESPN 2. The Grand Prize In Las Vegas Will Be Over $20,000 US In Cash & Prizes Per Division. 1st Place Per Division $10,000.00, 2nd Place Per Division $5,000.00, 3rd Place Per Division $2,500.00, Misc. Prizes Per Division $2,500.00.
