We are happy to announce two of the top salsa instructors coming to Caribbean Dancesport in Puerto Rico! Nelson Flores from New York City and Edie the salsa FREAK! from LA/Miami.

They are invited guest judges for the World Professional Salsa Championships and will also be giving special workshops throughout the weekend. Weve chosen these two instructors as they are masters of the NY On2 Street Style Salsa as well as the famous LA Style On1, giving you the best of all salsa styles to learn from. Below is there Bios and info. We look forward to welcoming them to a ballroom event and know you will enjoy there workshops and information.

Nelson Flores is part of New York Citys new generation of mambo instructors. Teaching for several years now, he has made a large mark on the salsa dance scene all over the world. He has been part of various dance groups and has performed in New York, and throughout the U.S., South America, Europe and on such stages as Madison Square Garden. Nelson is actively working with Nadeen Gautier (RMM) on shows which allow him to perform for a variety of artists. Currently Nelson is director of the Descarga Latina Dance Company and the Co-Creator and Producer of the first huge hit Off-Broadway Show called Latin Madness. He is also recently seen on ESPN as an official Judge for the ATP Salsa Championships. We look forward to having Nelson here at this great Caribbean Dancesport event in Puerto Rico!

Edie, The Salsa FREAK is one of the most sought after instructor / performers in the world. She has traveled to over 45 countries teaching the world to dance, and has been the first American to teach in 18 of those countries.
